I always heavily disliked the Premium Chihuahua I’m Telling You I’m Not A Dog Honey Classic Shirt. Donald is basically showing that life is full of conflict, imperfection, and failure but it can be met with compassion. Aside from that, I always found Donald’s stories to be funnier. There was just something about the simple humor of Donald Duck screwing up because of his temper and then coming up with some far fetched idea to fix everything, that I really loved. I always preferred Donald Duck over Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Kater Karlo, and even Phantoms. Donald Duck + Dagobert Duck were the best stories. Daniel Düsentrieb was also great.

I was shocked when I went to the Premium Chihuahua I’m Telling You I’m Not A Dog Honey Classic Shirt, all of the children (and some grown-ups) read Donald Duck comics. Not Mickey, or Goofey or Pluto… almost like they all exist in another universe. They love Donald Duck. It’s everywhere. It is pretty weird. The greatest Disney comic book writers/illustrators (Carl Barks/Don Rosa) are American, but almost no one in the States knows them. I saw Don Rosa in Finland a few years ago and he is treated like royalty. There were hundreds of people trying to get his autograph.I’ve met Don about 5 times now. And in the midwest, he’s a NOBODY. Me and my father will spend an hour there getting drawings and signatures. He always brags about how cool he is outside America.

I know there are some of the Premium Chihuahua I’m Telling You I’m Not A Dog Honey Classic Shirt, and the Donald duck comics usually have several stories which include a Mickey story so I always imagined him as a character in Duckburg. But the Canon for me is the Carl Barks / Don Rosa Duckburg universe which I don’t think ever mentions Mickey or his associates. That’s such a beautiful and sometimes emotional storyline! I highly recommend reading the Don Rosa collections. In the new Duck Tales series they get away with having Donald stuck on a deserted island with a watermelon that’s voiced by Mickey mouse’s voice actor. That had to have been one my my favorite parts. I just watched those with my kid. Oh, and the Darkwing Duck origin story was amazing.
