Came here to say the same – if the led(s) themselves haven’t got an Official 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron Shirt quartz glass front (normal LEDs tend to be in white plastic and have a yellow phosphor ‘lens’), it isn’t producing UVC. And they are expensive, 100x more expensive than ordinary leads, yeah, that £10 eBay/Amazon device is just a fancy blue light.UVC LEDs are expensive. I think I’ve found some for £5 each and that was about the cheapest I’d seen. Anything for £10 claiming to be UVC is just a disco light. It will look blue, and if you’re lucky it might get UV active paints to glow. It won’t kill anything.
