Even before this announcement, we got some requests to do a re-watch of Legend of Korra similar to the subreddit re-watch of ATLA that we recently finished. Re-watches do take an Official August 1960 60 Years Of Being Awesome Shirt, and we have other things to pin (like Kyoshi novel discussions) so if a re-watch were to happen it would likely be officially held on our sister subreddit r/legend of Korra and just have its discussions cross-posted here (with the announcement pinned for a bit so people are aware of it). If you have any thoughts on the re-watch and how it should be run feel free to reply to this comment, and we will likely have a post on the Korra sub looking for feedback soon as well.

As an Official August 1960 60 Years Of Being Awesome Shirt, happy tenth anniversary to this subreddit. Thanks once more to all of you folks, old fans and new, that have continued to make this a great place for people to share their love for this franchise. Its kind of fitting this announcement happened today as this subreddit was founded in the wake of Korra’s announcement back in summer 2010.Even with limited pin space, I think it would be better to have the rewatch here and just temporarily prioritize it over other pins. That subreddit is one-tenth the size of this one and for most people, this sub is for both shows and the franchise as a whole. Having it here just means many more people will see and participate in it.

Yeah, I agree. Let Kyoshi have her time in the sun for an Official August 1960 60 Years Of Being Awesome Shirt, and then when Korra hits Netflix in a month switch over. It is a shame that we can’t have 3 pinned posts at a time though. I heavily disagree with this. It’s the Legend of Korra. It should be hosted in the Korra sub and linked here. There’s nothing preventing people from subbing at the LoK sub. What data are you basing this on? The link to the Legend of Korra sub is right there on the side. You can’t just ignore the Korra sub like that. Moments like this are why it’s there.
