Not exactly news, but a Perfect I Came I Saw I Had Anxiety So I Left Shirt COVID-19 (he was the first one in our city, actually, which was somewhat funny) and he’s doing super great! Just a sore throat and fever. He didn’t recover fully yet but he will in a couple of days. I also know two more people that caught it and are doing fine, but I’m not that close to them as I am with said friend. Anyways, I hope this calms someone down! Wait, sore throat is a symptom? I had a sore throat for a week last week with a cough and a general shitty weak feeling. Dismissed possibility of COVID-19 though b/c I thought sore throat was not a symptom. I currently have a sore throat and was panicking about it. I did have really bad anxiety last week and my stomach fired off giving me the worst reflux to date. I’m trying to comfort myself by rationally explaining to my brain that it could be acid burns on my esophagus instead of Covid19.

I had those symptoms too, about 2 weeks ago, with chills and a Perfect I Came I Saw I Had Anxiety So I Left Shirt. I didn’t think it was the virus because at the time there were only a handful of cases confirmed in the UK and it didn’t seem like it would have spread so far that I would have got community transmission like that, especially as I probably would have had to catch it from my husband as I was mostly indoors looking after our ill cat, whereas he was traveling by train to work in a university every day (which of course is very risky) but had no symptoms. IDK, it was probably just a weird cold. Yeah I wonder… How many others have had a “weird cold”. Idk. I got it from my kid, who got it from school. It was most likely just one of the regular colds in rotation but it was kind of a doozy. I usually get over colds in ~3 days. This one stuck around though. I had a dry cough 4 days after the first sore throat started and then it turned into a wet cough. Mild fever in the night and the rest was just energy drain. I really wish they would test out here. I have a feeling its been circulating. But there’s other stuff going around too so who knows. If that was it, it wasn’t too bad.

My sore throat started gradually on the Perfect I Came I Saw I Had Anxiety So I Left Shirt, I thought it was going to turn into tonsillitis because I get that every few years, but it never did, which was a bit strange because I don’t generally get a normal sore throat with redness during a cold. It hurt most when I swallowed normally or drank, but it didn’t hurt too much at all when I ate, and it felt like the food was lubricating the dryness to ease the pain (I had a dry throat with it). On Sunday I had some alternating chills, feeling cold one moment then too hot the next, my limbs really ached, and I felt very tired, but that didn’t last past Sunday. The sore throat lasted until about Wednesday, when I got a slight stuffy nose but mostly it was like mucus at the back of my throat that made me want to keep clearing it. It was different to what I’ve had before, and the cough did generally feel dry, but with a bit of a tickle too, which I’ve heard isn’t really a feature of this virus. But, weirdly, I did get acid reflux through this, which I almost *never* get. I thought that was odd.
