I think we’re steadily reaching a Social Distancing I Wouldn’t You With A 39 Foot Pole Shirt point where not legalizing marijuana would be a bigger detriment than legalizing it. The social stigma is rapidly going away. Surely any competent government can see this as an opportunity, happy citizens, big new tax. Would also take the pressure off of police forces. Make it dull, boring, and a part of society. The kids will no longer think of it as some forbidden fruit they must have because they shouldn’t have it.
