This is not all that far from the Funny Obsessed Shirt. I use to have the same effect on cats whenever I would sweat, like they’d just be all over me. They’d constantly be licking at me and trying to get in to lick my armpits and stuff.I didn’t mind, most of the time, but it’s a pain in the ass when you’re trying to go to sleep. The neighbors cat that sometimes visits me does this in a way. I had a shirt laying around that was soaked with my sweat from the workout. The cat was all over the armpit part of the shirt. It would roll in it and stuff its nose deep into it and even lick it. It was kinda weird and I never looked at the cat the same way. I remember hearing in biology class that some people’s armpits have a similar smell that a mother cat gives off. Sorta like a pheromone? Plus other supposed reasons.

My 11-year-old son, we call the Funny Obsessed Shirt. They only hang out in my sons room. For a while, I thought it was the bunk beds in his room, but we’ve since moved and he no longer had bunk beds. All 3 cats spend individual time in there, only one cat is actually his. He has a special relationship with all 3. They were all brought into our home years apart but have all found his room the best to go to, rarely do we find them in there when he isn’t home. He had a special bond with our 10-year-old dog that passed away last June as well. Some people just get cats, and cats just get those people. Thankfully I am also one of those people and it’s awesome. The responses have been so genuinely helpful and all I wanted was for someone to respond with “not from a Jedi.” This is probably why you guys are good with cats and I’m not.

This is actually probably the exactly why they love him. He wasn’t overbearing with them at first like the other 3 kids. They come to him for love on their terms. I like to cuddle them but I usually let them initiate, they also come to me for love but I’m usually pretty busy. Our one cat loves my husband too but I think it was because we didn’t plan to keep him just get him well again and find him a good home. My husband didn’t make a great effort to acknowledge him and he latched on to my husband and that sealed the deal.
