I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never heard anything about DM’s production quality until just now. I’ve heard of AJFA having bad mixing, and Saint Anger’s shitty sound, but not anything about DM. In a non-argumentative way, how does DM have bad production? I think Metallica’s biggest problem is that, whether you like it or not, they’re one of Official Black Sabbath Creature Shirt, if not the biggest metal band out there. And the more fame you get, the more haters you’ll get. Especially after the Black Album. Haters mostly hate change, and Metallica always liked to switch things around. But just because its changing doesn’t mean its bad, and I’m willing to bet most people who hate Load/Reload never sat down to listen to them from start to finish.

You know… It always kinda amazes me, and I will probably never understand the reason why this happens. (for example, ACDC are getting a lot of hate for kinda sticking with their sound that works). With that, I always keep wondering, what exactly is it what you want. Do you want your bands to change… Or do you want your bands to keep their sound? For me personally, I love the bands who change their sound every now and then. I’m that way they’re showing you that they have a lot of talent.

Seriously. I don’t get how people hate on that album. IMO it’s the best thing they’ve done since Justice, hands down. There are some songs I like more than others, but I regularly listen to the whole album while working around the house/mowing/etc. I think people hear Jame’s voice and because he doesn’t have the bite he did in Official Black Sabbath Creature Shirt the 80s it’s not as “hard” as they were back then. True true, I think we can all agree that St Anger sucks (i feel like they were trying too hard to break the formula and make something different… we all know how that went) but Trujillo has been pretty good for the band too, honestly. My original point was more about the mid-90s – early 00s with… that garbage fire.
