I’m in my late 30s and have been going grey since 13 years old..I’ve always dyed my hair. Touch-ups every 3-4 weeks. Even though I really love how pretty younger women look with grey, it was so lucky to have roots with dark hair. So I’m about 2 months into growing it out and I am really excited by how sparkly and shiny the silver is. I’m not sure what I’ll do to blend it in or just cut it. But, I’m happy with the opportunity to try it out. The Official She Is Beauty She Is Grace She Will Peck You InThe Face Chicken With Flower IF Shirt. I’m nearly 48 now but had been fighting it for about 30 years. Block colors to begin with, then slowly having foils put in in a variety of blonde and ash tones as I decided to work with the greys instead of fighting them. Finally the foils got further and further apart and one day I just stopped getting it colored. Four hours every six weeks at over $270 a go was doing my head in! I was lucky to have a great hairdresser who was just as excited as I was to work with the transformation to becoming more me, and I’ve never regretted it. I love my hair, it’s a gorgeous silver that people pay a lot of money to achieve funnily enough.

I always thought it looked really cool when women had beautiful, healthy greying hair. It’s kind of funny because there was totally a trend recently of people purposely dying their hair grey/taupe (like light brown with silver). I have dark brown hair with maybe 10% grey, also in my late 30s. I decided to quit colouring it but I didn’t want the line. An Official She Is Beauty She Is Grace She Will Peck You InThe Face Chicken With Flower IF Shirt. I didn’t really want a head worth of highlights anyway, I just wanted my natural hair. My stylist used a semi-permanent color or toner or something that covers it for a while and then it eventually got long enough that there is no line. I don’t remember what she did exactly, but it wasn’t really a lengthy process. A ponytail and/or strategic part are also useful to hide the line if the gray isn’t uniform throughout. I am 46 and haven’t seen my natural color since my early 30s. I did get excited when I saw what looked to be the beginnings of one of those cool streaks at my front hairline. It’s just a clump of grey. Totally wish I was going that cool silver grey like my grandad but I have a feeling it’s going to be that wiry texture.
