I can confirm this works. Sometimes you can just bend the clamp to apply more pressure to the chips hand overheat the chipset. Overheat the chips by plugging in the fans and blocking the airflow to the heat sync. Not fun considering the TV was relatively new at the time. Did manage to get it to work tho… only for the hard drive to freeze.
